You can now get your calendar with pics by Bedouin children 21.9.2022
Dear friends and colleagues,
We want to wish you a happy new Jewish year, with plenty of health, peace, equality, and more opportunities of education and employment, for the most vulnerable. We would like to thank you for constantly supporting our activities and projects.
NCF put a lot of effort into organizing numerous Arab-Jewish activities in 2022, which helped thousands of local and international activists support the ongoing Bedouin struggle. We also conducted extensive research, wrote reports and position papers, and engaged in extensive domestic and international advocacy campaigns. This year, we have established a new project: Bedouin women’s equal access to digital literacy and employment opportunities. Women from unrecognized villages are learning to use digital tools to advocate for their rights through a communitarian model in their villages. The NCF continues to stand in solidarity with the unrecognized villages and will continue to push forward the recognition of 32 villages that the government of Israel still refuses to recognize. The Bedouin citizens of the Naqab deserve equal civil and political rights as the rest of the population.
Our yearly calendar with photos taken by children from the unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Negev-Naqab is ready and you are welcome to purchase yours. Each summer, NCF conducts workshops in the villages for children and young adults, and this calendar is a result of their work and their unique points of view.
We look forward to continuing our work with you in the upcoming year.
Yours sincerely,
Haia Noach

In accordance with the law, the Negev Coexistence Forum for Civil Equality is proud to note that as a result of cooperation with friendly countries and international organizations that promote human rights, most of the funding for our activities comes from “foreign entities.”
