PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITIONS

AROUND THE COUNTRY

You are welcome to join us tomorrow in our mobile exhibition in Beer Sheva since 1.00 PM. The event will be held in the square next to the Central Station, and will count with the participation of our Arab Bedouin photographers from unrecognized villages in the Naqab. Attendants will be able to speak with them and learn their insights about their work within NCF’s workshops.

We would like to share with you that as a result of our work with the UN Special Procedures, Special Rapporteurs* have emmitted a communication to the State of Israel expressing their concern on forced evictions and home demolitions in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Naqab as well as the use of criminal and administrative sanctions to Human Rights defenders, including Sheikh Sayah Abu Madhi’m al-Turi and other members of the family. We would like to express our special appreciation to the Ambassador Mr. Emanuele Giaufret, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Israel, who opened the exhibition in Tel Aviv and enabled a very enriching exchange with the photographers.
Likewise, we had the pleasure to have representatives from the delegations of Ireland, Switzerland and Germany who continously support NCF’s work, with great kindness.

This exhibition would not have been possible without the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, the European Union, the Swiss Embassy and our staff members and volunteers.
Below you will find some pictures of the event:

The project’s photographers reunited in a circle sharing their personal lives’ experiences as part of an integration activity, towards the end of the exbhibition in Tel Aviv.
