The Negev Coexistence Forum and The Omer Masorati Community
ALL were INVITED:
Jews, Moslems, Christians and everyone!
On Thursday, seventh candle, (which is also Christmas…)
Negev Coexistence Forum celebrated the lighting of the seventh candle together with the Masorati community in Omer and the NABILA women’s organization from Tel Sheva.
At the Masorati synagogue we sang songs together, heard an explanation of the meaning of the candles from Rabbi Gretz, words of welcome from Yanni Nevo of the Negev Coexistence Forum, and Rima Abu Asa from NABILA. We lit candles, and made decorated candles and other handcrafts.
We are looking forward to celebrating more holidays together.
