As part of a joint project of Negev Coexistence Forum and Adala, supported by the European Union, we held last Saturday, April 27th, a human rights violations workshop at the Bedouin unrecognized village of Al-Zarnug. 15 women, residents of the village, participated in the workshop. During the workshop, which aims to give the residents of the unrecognized villages the means to struggle and to protect their rights, NCF coordinators, Ratb Abu-Krinat and Michal Rotem, led two parts about cooperation, maximizing struggle success and organizing the village to struggle, and about documentation, new media and working with the press, in order to promote the struggle and raise awareness. Attorney Suhad Beshara of Adala led a section about human rights protection and violations.
