NCF Appointed as a Consultative NGO to the UN

The UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), at its Substantive Session of July 2013 adopted the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to grant Special consultative status to  Negev Coexistence Forum for Civil Equality. Consultative status for an organization enables it to actively engage with ECOSOC and its subsidiary bodies, as well as with the United Nations Secretariat, programmes, funds and agencies in a number of ways, the consultative status with ECOSOC includes privileges as well as obligations, on which you can read more in the letter we received.
