Happy New Year, a year of peace, coexistence, justice and equality

03.09.2013

New Year Greetings

To all members and volunteers of the Negev Coexistence Forum for Civil Equality,
our best wishes for a Happy New Year, a year of peace, coexistence, justice and equality.

Enclosed is a link to a tri-lingual calendar that was produced by the Negev Coexistence Forum for Civil Equality, and includes the Hijri year, the Civil and the Jewish years, with the Jewish, Muslim and Christian holidays. This year the calendar includes photos taken by the children of the Bedouin unrecognized village of A-Sir. The village of A-Sir, like tens of other unrecognized villages, is threatened by Prawer plan which aims to uproot tens of thousands of the Arab-Bedouin citizens of Israel, and forcibly move them from their lands. Click here for the new calendar

We would like to thank the members of NCF who initiated, edited, translated, and designed the calendar: Amer Abui-Hani, Avner Ben-Amos, Attyia Al-Asam, Haia Noach, Jalal Ziadneh, Marc Marcus, Nira Marcus, Yoram Peretz, Rachel Ben Porat, Yaakov Manor and Khalil Alamour.

If you wish to purchase a hard copy of the calendar, two sizes are available, A3 format for 50 NIS or A4 format for 40 NIS, please contact Michal at Michal@dukium.org to make an order.

Thank you, our friends and volunteers, for your support. Your support enables us to continue our activities for civil equality in the Negev. Please renew your annual donation.

Again, Happy New year and Kulu A’am Wentam Bcheir,

The Negev Coexistence Forum for Civil Equality secretariat

Avner Ben Amos, Musa Abu-Ganem, Khalil Alamour, Yunes Aburabia, Rachel Naparstek, Yehudit Keshet and Yaacov Manor.
